Solid wood flooring is a solid piece of wood from top to bottom, which thickness can varies from 3⁄4” to 5/16”. Solid wood flooring can be installed above or on grade, and can be sanded and refinished several times during its service life.
Unfinished wood flooring, we will install the natural virgin wood, sand it and apply the finish coat on the job site. This is the best option if you are looking for a solid and specific color or need to match existing flooring. Traditional wood floors are a white or red oak, Exotics are also available.
Factory-finished wood flooring, means that the finish is applied at the manufacturers facility. These floors require less time to install because the sanding and finishing process has already happened. The floors are ready to walk on immediately following the installation, unlike the natural floors which require staining and final coating dry times prior to walking on them.
